The inspiration for this western cowboy painting comes from the Johnny Cash song 'Big River". The lyrics 'I'm gonna sit right here until I die.' are listed on the piece itself.

The 'Destination Series' uses a quilt, color blocking look, and is done with paint and wood stain. This surf art was painted on wood originally, and depicts surf scenes from around the world. Some are often real, while others are made up from my mind.
